We draped the Charter for Rosella Conyers, who went to her heavenly home on April 21.
This is Gold Star Mother Month, and Sister LoRene will take a card and flowers to Bernice Enlow.
We voted to support Girls State, so that someone would be able to attend.
I would like as many auxiliary ladies to attend the Memorial Day Service as possible at Sunset Cemetery and Valley View Cemetery.
Our next meeting will be June 14, 2010.
Thank You, Ladies for your support.

| FROM THE COMMANDER-ELECT |
|
| Hello Comrades,
As the Commander-in-waiting, I was asked to write up an article for the newsletter. For those of you who do not know
I am not yet installed, due to the lack of a Quartermaster. Comrade Miller has done a fine job for our Post, and wishes to step back for awhile. He has stated numerous times that he will work closely with the new Quartemaster on getting her/him up to speed quickly. The Post NEEDS a Quartermaster, and a special election/installation meeting is planned for May 31
Memorial Day. If we find a Quartermaster, and install all of our officers, then we can move on to plan future business. If not, we are going to have to freeze everything until one is located. This is because the Post cannot handle money without a Quartermaster. As far as my situation goes
I would like to thank the 4% of the membership who elected me, the 3% who actually come to meetings regularly and the crews that work bingo. Once we make it past the Quartermaster hurdle, I would like to raise meeting attendance. Most of the time, 97% of the membership does not even know what is going on at their Post. Thank you for spending time to read this, and I hope to see you at the Memorial Day Ceremony/Meeting.

Hopefully, by next month we will know more details about the scholarship Taron received. Scholarships are available for those who apply.
Even during this tight economy, our Post has continued to assist and support individuals and organizations. In addition to the above, the Ladies and Mens Auxiliaries also have a list of their own contributions.
